We are not currently running toddler group, but this will be reviewed shortly.
Our Toddler Group is run at Elmley Castle School from 9.30am to 11am every Monday morning in term time and all children are welcome from 0-5.
What happens during a session?
- Most sessions will have 20-30 minutes of structured entertainment in the school hall, including games, songs and a story, followed by snack time and then open indoor and outdoor play.
- The last Monday of every month is run as a Forest School. Each session has a theme, offering different activities each week. This may include a mud kitchen, den building, minibeasts, nature hunts and pond activities.
Sessions are £3 per child or £5 for two children from the same family.
Please come along and try out our welcoming and fun Toddler Group.

MEDICATION AND MEDICAL INFORMATION
It is very important that if a child may require medication (for example, an asthma inhaler or an epi-pen) then it is the Parent and/or Carers responsibility to ensure they bring this medication with them.
It is the Parent’s and/or Carer’s responsibility to alert a toddler group leader if their child has any allergies or health issues that may affect the activities being undertaken.
The Forest School Leader and parent volunteers/assistants have an enhanced DBS certificate.
Photographs and video footage may be taken of the children during activities, for use solely by Elmley Castle C. E. School and PTA for promotional purposes, i.e. use on social media/ websites/leaflets/press releases etc.
Please let Elmley Castle C. E. School know in writing if you DO NOT want your child’s photograph to be used for the above purposes.
Forest School sessions will not run if strong or gale force winds are predicted for any part of the day or if the Forest School Leader decides it is unsafe e.g. storms, torrential and/or heavy rain/hail/snow etc. In these circumstances we will run the normal toddler group session in the school hall.
Children should not bring any tools or flints/steels with them as any tools will be provided and when not in use kept in a safe place.
