Promoting British Values
All have a duty to ‘actively promote’ the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
At Elmley Castle School we value the views of our children. Our school council is an important part of that pupil voice. Our councillors campaigned for their position and a secret ballot was used to elect each member. Each of our elected members have signed a code of conduct contract. Please listen to Olly's manifesto below; you will see how passionate our children are about our school and how seriously they take their responsibilities as a citizen of our school, country and our world.
