Full-Time Temporary Class Teacher (maternity cover)
The Governing Body of Elmley Castle CofE First School is seeking to appoint a temporary full time class teacher to cover maternity leave. Experience of working across the primary age range is desirable, experience of working with Key Stage Two, essential. Applicants should state any areas of expertise they may be able to bring to the school. This is an exciting opportunity to work with delightful children as part of a dedicated and inspired staff team.
The duties and responsibilities allocated to the post will be based on the skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications of the individual appointed, which will determine the salary grade.

-Is passionate about teaching and has high expectations of pupils and themselves
-Has the ability to motivate and inspire children with exciting teaching and learning opportunities
-Has the vision, energy and dedication to ensure outstanding outcomes for all learners
-Has the ability to build warm relationships with parents, carers and other professionals-Is flexible, accommodating and a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
-Is committed to the wider life of the school and activities outside the classroom
-Is supportive of the Christian vision, values and ethos of the school

Elmley Castle CE First School currently employs approximately 12 staff in both teaching and support staff positions.
Elmley Castle is a rewarding place to work, whether you join us in a teaching or support staff role. The school is situated on the outskirts of Pershore and Evesham, at the foot of Bredon Hill.
We have three classes catering for Preschool and Reception , Years 1 and 2, and Years 3, 4 and 5 children and we currently have 39 pupils on our register as well and part-time preschool children. Ours is a friendly school, with excellent support from Governors and parents - and a positive and caring ethos. We are committed to a child-centred education and to ensuring that every child in our community has access to the highest possible standard of education.
