The governing Body of Elmley Castle CE First School is seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic, and highly motivated teacher to join our friendly staff team as Key Stage 2 Class Teacher from September 2019. We are looking for a talented individual who:
- Is dynamic and passionate about providing the best teaching and learning opportunities for our children.
- Has high expectations of care, achievement and behaviour and a commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.
- Has excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and is able to lead curriculum subjects innovatively (strengths in maths, science or computing would be advantageous, but not essential).
- Is willing to commit to the full life of the school.

Elmley Castle CE First School currently employs approximately 12 staff in both teaching and support staff positions.
Elmley Castle is a rewarding place to work, whether you join us in a teaching or support staff role. The school is situated on the outskirts of Pershore and Evesham, at the foot of Bredon Hill.
We have three classes catering for Preschool and Reception , Years 1 and 2, and Years 3, 4 and 5 children and we currently have 48 pupils on our register as well and part-time preschool children. Ours is a friendly school, with excellent support from Governors and parents - and a positive and caring ethos. We are committed to a child-centred education and to ensuring that every child in our community has access to the highest possible standard of education.
